Zebra Pleco

(Hypancistrus Zebra)

This pleco is one of the most stunning and sought after pleco in the hobby. It's white body with black bands running horizontally along the back and vertically along the front making a distinct pattern is the main reason for it's popularity. When viewed from above, males have broader heads than females. They should be kept in a peaceful aquarium with plenty of plants, rocks, sand and bogwood. The water must be well filtered. They are also very expensive fish and are not easily avalible but they make a stunning addition to any aquarium.
