Eduard's Mbuna

(Pseudotropeus Socolofi)

This medium sized lake malawi cichlid is from the eastern side of the lake, predominantly the middle. Both male and female are blue with dark edging to the ventral and anal fins and a light blue line along the top of the dorsal fin. Males, however, can be identified by eggspots at the back of their anal fin. Mbuna is a name for a gfroup of fish that feed on alge and certain invertebrates. They are a mouthbrooding species.
