The oscar is a popular cichlid that gets very large. They have greyish to brown body's with red markings covering it's sides. An albino varient is also avalible. They are popular pets because they can be trained to feed from the hand and become very interactive with it's owner. They may eat smaller fish and should generally be kept in a large aquarium of their own. Their aquarium requires powerful filtration to keep the water clean.
