Neon Rainbowfish

The neon rainbowfish is one of the most popular species rainbowfish in the hobby. It has a neon blue body that reflects light to make it look like a rainbow along with red edged dorsal, anal and caudal fins. They are great community fish but need a spacious tank as they like to swim. They also need well oxygenated water as they live in fast flowing streams in the wild. They can be bred in the home aquarium and the egg laying proccess will happen over several days, with around 50 eggs being laid daily.
