Pearl Danio
(Brachydanio Albolineatus)
The pearl danio is a hardy danio and makes a very good starter fish. It's body is grey at the front with a blue rear and one or two thin pinkish stripes passing along the middle of the body, becoming more obvious towards the rear. They are good community fish and they need plenty of swimming space as they are very active. They prefer a planted aquarium but regular pruning of the plants is needed to leave plenty of swimming room. Breeding is the same as the zebra danio.
