Bronze Corydoras

(Corydoras Aeneus)

This is another of the larger and more popular corydoras that is fairly hardy. They have silver or beige bodys with a grey marking around the middle of the body. They can be quite shiny, especially on the face and back. There are several varients including an albino version. They should, like most corydoras, be kept in groups in a well planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places. Females are broader than males when viewed from above. Their eggs will be laid amongst aquatic plants in batches.
