Blue Peacock Cichlid

(Aulonocara Hansbaenschi)

This beautiful lake malawi cichlid stays quite small and does well in a lake malawi community tank. They are a brilliant royal blue colour with dark markings on the ventral fins and a light blue stripe running along the dorsal fin. There should be plenty of caves in their aquariums as these fish like to hide. A good power filter is preferable for their aquarium to simulate the waves that you would naturally find on lake malawi. They are mouthbrooding fish.
