Lake Malawi Cichlids
These cichlids are a popular group of fish that come from lake malawi. Lake malawi is a large freshwater lake situated in south east Africa that was formed hundreds of years ago. Since then, the fish have been contained in this lake and have evolved to fit their habitat accordingly. They should be kept in aquariums that only house lake malawi cichlids as many are very territorial and don't get on well with other fish.
