Celestial Danio

(Celestichthys Margaritatus)

Picture
The celestial danio is a relatively new fish in the aquarium trade but is still very popular, especially for nano tanks. the body is dark grey or black with yellow spots and red fins. They can be kept in small aquariums due to their size and they should not be kept with very large fish because they may get eaten. Like most other danios, they prefer a planted aquarium and should be kept in reasonably large shoals. It will do well in a community aquarium with other small fish and will use driftwood and plants as a place to shelter. They prefer planted aquariums.
