Cichlids
Cichlids are some of the most popular fish in the hobby, with the group including fish like the angelfish and discus. There are so many of them that not much can be said about what defines on or what they are generally like. Most will not tolerate nitrites or high levels of nitrates however, so these need to be kept in check. most are also quite teritorial though so they should be kept in an aquarium with plenty of hiding places.
